On Christmas Day we drove to Port La Vaca to spend time with Jesse's mom, Wayne, sister, brother in law, and baby Skye. Jesse's mom cooked up a delicious Christmas meal with turkey and all the fixins! Wayne's home is gorgeous and is located in Blue Heron Bay right off the water. It was really nice to be able to spend Christmas day with them!

Christmas Eve
This year we celebrated Christmas Eve at our house and it was packed! We had 22 people here and TONS of gifts everywhere! We love it though and do the same thing every year. We had Argentine Barbeque and all sorts of yummy sides and desserts. It was a blast and Olivia loves having everyone over!

Ugly Sweater Party
My friends Stacy and Nate hosted an Ugly Sweater Party the weekend before Christmas and it was so much fun! There were some super ugly sweaters, but Jennifer's won the prize! I didn't get a picture of Jenn's but man was it hideous! Tons of yummy food and awesome friends made the night quite memorable! Thanks guys-we love you!

Snow in Houston
I still can't believe this happened. It snowed here in Houston-over three inches back on December 4th. I was at work for the majority of it, but it was still so exciting. Here are some pictures from it.
My car had a bunch of snow piled on it so Jesse made this little snow man on my windshield for Olivia

Tis the Season for Giving
My school had a food drive last week and I was overhwelmed at the amount of food they brought in. Of course, it helps that the class who brought the most wins a pizza party, but these truly are awesome kiddos. Our students don't have much to begin with so it is really touching to see their ability to give to others!

Lake Travis
As many of you know Jesse's family lives out at Lake Travis and he grew up and lived out there unitl he moved here to Houston with me. We love the Lake, it's one of the main reasons I love Austin so much! I have so many wonderful memories there! It is beautiful and all the hills and trees make you wonder why all of Texas can't look like this! We stopped at a church off of 620 that has a great overlooking view of the lake. It is really low still, but we love it anyway!
Luke and Benjamin Boulette
The same day we got to Austin our dear friends Jason and Megan welcomed their newest edition Benjamin Scott Boulette. He is adorable and perfect! He was 6 pounds 8 ounces and mom and baby were doing fantastic when we visited them Saturday. Luke is also getting so big and he is so sweet and loving towards us.
