Christmas Picture Attempt

This year time slipped past me too quickly and I never got the chance to schedule a photo shoot with Dixie for our Christmas cards. Instead, I got Olivia dressed in a cute little red sweater dress and pretty bow (thanks jenny) and took her out to a park to take some pictures of my own. She was very cooperative until she got bit by ants! Regardless I got some good shots and now you'll just have to wait to see which ones made the cut for the card! I LOVE the holidays!!!!

She looks so grown to me in this one:(

I love these ringlets!

My Boys

One of my bestest friends ever, Kevin Croft, recently found his way back into my life. For ten years Kevin lived in Junction, TX which is a 5 hour drive west, and needless to say we did not get the chance to visit very often. I love him so, and am so excited that now he lives in Needville on an awesome Ranch! He comes out to spend evenings with Jesse and I whenever he can, and we always have a great time! He cracks me up, and I love his little girls a ton! He and Jesse get along fabulously too, so it's just perfect! YAY Kevin-I'm so happy you're close now!!!!!

Headed to have some Sushi on a Friday!!!

Disney Princesses On Ice

My parents took Olivia and I to Disney Princesses on Ice a few weeks back, and it was so much fun! It was magical, and I of course knew all the words to all the songs:) Olivia has all of the movies so she immediatley recognized all the princesses. It was a great time, and I can't wait to take her again.

Halloween

This year Olivia was My Little Pony, Star Song and her costume was adorable! We trick-or-treated with the Hippels around my sister's neighborhood and then ate hot dogs and goodies in her driveway. We had a great time!

Barbie Jeep

My Parents got Olivia a Barbie Jeep for her birthday and man does she love it! She rides all around the neighborhood in it! It's the coolest present ever!

Olivia turns 4!

Tuesday, August 10, was Olivia's actual birthday and of course my family came over to celebrate again! She got some other great gifts and loved that everyone came to spend the evening with her.

Instead of cake, I baked her brownies because they are her favorite-that's my girl!

Loving the reaction she gets when she pretends to read the cards she got-and they all end with "Amen"-she is so funny!

Reading!

Her Tia Mana got her some super cool Twinkle Toe Sketchers-they light up all over when she steps too!

Waiting for the fam to arrive-I love this dress-another gift from Tia Mana!

Olivia's pool party

Last Saturday we celebrated Olivia's 4th birthday with a pool party at my parents' house. It was so much fun, and she enjoyed herself so much. We had about 19 kids and 30 some adults show up to join in the fun! Thanks everyone for coming out-we'll do it again next year!

Stephanie Rogers, a second grade teacher at my former school bakes as a side business, and she made this beautiful cake to match Olivia's invitations. It turned out so great and it was really delicious. She also made 24 cupcakes to go along with it, the kids really enjoyed those! Big Thanks to Stephanie-contact me if you are interested!

So excited for her party to start! Notice the adorable dress and bow her Tia mana got her-she looked precious!

Her Ishia got her a Dora balloon
