My new favorite!

I LOVE this picture! It is the best one I have captured so far on my camera. I love how open his eyes are and how he is looking right at me. He is such a cutie!

Marcelo's first month

I can't believe a month has already gone by! It seems like just yesterday I was counting down the days for him to be here. Our sweet boy is such a blessing. He is a good baby too! He eats well, and sleeps pretty well too! He is a big boy and is already over 12 pounds, but that's no surprise considering how big he was born. We are all crazy about him. I am enjoying every minute of being home with him because I know July 25th will be here way too soon and back to work I go! Don't laugh because he has a pink bouncer, some things carried over from his sister, and he doesn't know colors anyway:)

Watching cartoons already, these was taken this morning

40 years and counting

June 7th my sweet parents celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary! We all met at our favorite South American grill, Saldivia's and had a wonderful time. They are so young, thast it's always so weird for me to think they have been married 40 years!!!! They met in the 5th grade and became boyfriend and girlfriend at 13, then my dad moved to the US when he was 16 and my mom thought she would never see him again. And then 2 years later he showed up at her house with a ring and asked her to marry him-the rest is history. Their love story is one for the books, and I feel so blessed to have them in our lives together still after all these years! My dad made my mom a DVD of pictures of their life starting in gradeschool to their grandchildren set to music, and it made all of us cry! Happy anniversary to the best parents ever!

Their new grandson stole a little bit of their thunder:)

Our family friends, Victor and Nancy, have two beautiful daughters and their oldest, Fernanda, took out her violin and played "Twinke, twinkle, little star" for them. She started lessons this year, it was adorable!
