Pictures in Christmas PJs

I took some pictures of the kids to use on our Christmas cards this year and then some for fun!
This was the main picture for our card! Love them so much!
She wanted to take a picture alone as well:)
He LOVED the Christmas tree, loved taking ornaments off or shaking them back and forth! He's a busy little stinker!
 I love my Christmas tree!
She said, "mommy, I'll make a Christmas card and hold it up for you to take a picture."

Soccer Fall 2012

This fall was Olivia's 3rd time in FFPS soccer.  She loves it, and we had a great team this year!  Majority of the kids had played a season or two before and our coaches were great!  Our coach's dad volunteered to help coach at each practice and game.  He was so sweet and generous with his time.  We're not sure if we're going to play again in the spring, but she is getting better with every season and loves it, so we'll see!

Our baby was captain at the last game!

Pizza party for the last game!
One of the player's mom made homemade cupcakes!
When handing out the trophies, coach took time to say a few sweet words about each player!
The whole team!

Halloween!

Vampire and soldier boy.  Olivia won't dress up as anything cute anymore.  She knows that Halloween is scary and she says she has to be something scary for her costume too!

He looks away now when I take pictures, makes me so mad!

Goofy!

Carving pumpkins

Fun in October!

All I want for Christmas is my two front teeth!

These are a little late, but Olivia lost both of her top teeth this year, and her toothfairy loves her very much.  He visits all of our houses, ours, my folks, my grandparents, and my sister.  Her teeth must be made of gold!  She rakes in the dough each time one falls out.  She is good too, if I were her I would yank them out!
This was the nigth she lost the 2nd one

Marcelo's Baptism

On Sunday September 9, 2012 we baptized Marcelo at St. Theresa'a Catholic Church.  My sister and Tio Kenny are his Godparents, and of course the entire family plus some close friends also attended.  He was a good boy for the most part, but it was hard for him to sit still for very long.  I think that's the reason they suggest that you baptize while their infants!  It was a lovely ceremony and we had a nice reception at my folks' house afterward.

He ended up walking up and down the aisles
Our family friend Sylvia made this adorable cake for the reception, and it was delicious too!

My mom made a poster of pictures from my baptism 34 years ago.

First day of 1st grade!

Unfortunatley mommy's first day of school is super hectic and I couldn't stick around this year to make sure she was all ready and everything went as planned.  Thank goodness she has her daddy and grandpa to help out.  She also reminded me that this wasn't her first day at this school and she was ok with me not taking her.  It made me sad, but I went along with it!  We picked out this outfit the night before (thanks Uncle Eddie), and we planned what to have for lunch and she was all set! I still can't believe my baby is in 1st grade!

 Two of my favorites!
Abi takes her to school every morning, and they both love it!
Not too excited about being up so early!
Daddy took pictures of her 2nd day for me too! She looks so cute in this!
She has the best daddy!

My grandparent's 64th Anniversary party

On July 31st my grandparents celebrated their 64th wedding anniversary.  It's amazing that they've lasted this long, especially since no one thought they would and neither one of their families attended the ceremony.  My grandpa's brother (Tio Manuel) was the only one there.  Good thing we waited till he and his wife were here from Argentina visiting to have a surprise celebration for them.  It was so much fun and they were so happy and touched at all the efforts my parents and everyone involved put in.  We love them so very much and know how blessed we are to be able to share our lives with them daily!  Happy anniversary Nana and Tata-you give me an amazing example to follow!
All dressed up in his Boca gear
Setting up, waiting for the guests of honor
My mana had to write in their names, not enough vowels to use:)
My parents made this poster for them, it was beautiful!
This was them at age 17, three years before they married-they are one good looking couple!
 Me and My Beautiful Mana!
What kind of party would it be without tons of meat?
It was like our own Fogo de Chao
 Man they were surprised!
The humidity kicks his hair's butt, just like us!

We even had friends dress up and perform the ceremony

So much fun!!!!
