Siesta Key, FL.

This year for vacation we rented a van and made the 17 hour drive with my folks to Siesta Key, FL.  Siesta Key beach was rated #1 beach in the US in 2011, with it's white quartz sand, that never gets hot and it's blue sea through waters it is absolutley beautiful!  Siesta Key Village has yummy restaurants and great shopping.  It also prides itself on some homemade ice cream which is perfect after a hot day at the beach.  We all had a great time and we were blessed with some awesome weather.  Unfortunately the tropical storm that hit the area about 1 week and half before we got there prevented us from seeing the crystal blue waters and it was a littler cloudier than I like, but it was still wonderful and relaxing.
He loved the beach and the ability to run around and get in and out as he pleased
Daddy liked making things in the sand with the kiddos
 Best Abi ever!

We stopped in Pensacola Beach on the way there and stayed at the Holiday Inn Resort.  It had a lazy river in the pool area and the Blue Angels practiced over the beach the morning we go there.
 Such a Ham!
This is what happens when you put on your sunscreen
The Holiday Inn Resort had a pirate show that morning too!  It's a great place for the kids!
The pirate gave her a gold coin
This was our bedroom view in Siesta Key.

Jesse grilled for us 3 nights out of 7
The baby prefers walking all around the pool to being in the water

This is what a good day at the beach will do to you!
 I wish I lived there!

 I love these shots!
 My men!
Look who got buried in the sand
One day was cloudy and ugly so we went to the area of the Ringling Brother's Museum and toured the grounds and the mansion.

All the area around the museum was so green and beautiful

Mabel Ringling loved roses and her rose garden is still there today and beautiful
Those are roots that grow down from the branches, it's the craziest thing ever.

Our last day on the beach was beautiful and dad rented chairs and an umbrella, we stayed out there all day!

Love these boys so much, and this picture!

Our last dinner was at an Argentine restaurant called Tango, it was a sushi bar too and it was delicious!

We saw this 1917 Ford Model T and had to take a picture!
